Filed under: Uncategorized — wheredidthatdaygo @ 10:07 pm

Well here we are, half way through the holidays already! Don’t know about you guys but I’m finding it’s actually going really quickly. So here’s my pick of next week’s activities for you:

Friday 8th-Monday 11th August

Alice in Wonderland Adventures at Standalone farm. Alice themed activity all four days with giant garden games, hands and knees maze, sack races and a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party! On Friday and Saturday there are craft activities between 1-3pm and on Sunday and Monday between 11am-3pm storytelling. This is all included in the normal admission fee.

Monday 11th August

9am-12pm The Beach is at Icknield School.

Tuesday 12th August

10-11.30am – People who help us and bouncy castle! This is a great idea by Icknield Children’s Centre introducing kids to fire brigade, police and first aiders with a chance to see the fire engine and play on a bouncy castle. £1 per family and those in the Icknield and Grange areas will be prioritised. Taking place at Icknield Infant and Nursery school field.

11am-2pm Summer Holiday Art Workshops in the barn of the Vitcoria Pub in Hitchin. These run every Tuesday through the holidays for 5-8 year olds. £22 per session but include a pub lunch.

12-12.45pm – Tots Tennis at Letchworth Tennis Club. These classes are fab, even if you don’t think you have a future Wimbledon champion on your hands they are brilliant at improving skills like coordination and balance and they’re just great fun!

Wednesday 13th August

10am-4pm The craft activity at Frosts Garden Centre, Willington this week is bugs and butterflies. Decorating a bug mask, making a bug windmill for your garden and building a bug or butterfly glider. Don’t forget they still have the beach and all the outdoor games here too.

11am-2pm Summer Holiday Art Workshops in the barn of the Vitcoria Pub in Hitchin. These run every Wednesday through the holidays for 9-13 year olds. £22 per session but include a pub lunch.
